- Read the flight of the ball and position body behind the flight of the ball.
- Elbows up and away from the body for balance.
- Knee's slightly bent.
- Chest over balance foot (non-trapping foot)
- Lift trapping foot while bending the same knee.
- Slightly point toe of trapping foot.
- As the ball makes contact with the instep (shoe laces) withdraw the foot to cushion the ball to feet.
- Attempt to drop the ball directly in front at your feet
